Heian Godan 13-19

Movement 13 180 degree Right downward block (Gedan Barai), Horse Stance (Kiba Dachi)

Chamber with hips square on the turn.

Movement 14 Slow left hooking block

Hands start and finish at the same time.

Chamber with left hand underneath right fist arm, by bringing right hip forward.

Movement 15 Crescent Kick (Soto Geri) to left hand

Turn on left heel,

Maintain height,

Maintain hand on hip with elbow back

Keep hips square until last possible moment.

Keep left hand in place.

Movement 16 Right elbow strike (Empi)

Elbow strikes hand (not vice versa)

Strike with point of elbow, not forearm.

Fist maintains contact with gi.

Movement 17 Augmented block, cross-legged stance

Hips still face the side,

Knees pressed together,

Movement 18 Right Augmented Punch to Rear

Looking over left shoulder

Movement 19 Jumping downward x-block

Jump high, not long.

Jump Snap right leg up, tuck up as high as possible.

Land Knees pressed together, back heel raised, hips face the side.
